This batch file includes a script that allows windows users to run their minecraft server.
- Instructions
Replace the "server.jar" file with the name of your .jar server executable (Ex: Spigot/Paper/Bungeecord/etc).
Example: Usually, when you download a server executable file from an official website (Ex: https://getbukkit.org/) they are named as following: Spigot-1.18.1.jar .
In this case you should replace the "server.jar" in the batch file with "Spigot-1.18.1.jar".
- Others
The batch file also contains several other parameters, here is what you should know about them:
-Xmx1G | Specifies the maximum heap size available for the server. (In our case its 1GB of ram / you can edit the number if you want.)
-Dfile.encoding=UTF8 | Specifies a property which defines in which encoding will Java save and read files by default.
-jar | Specifies the file type. (This should be left alone.)
